Hi and welcome! I’m Felicity, a freelance Hand Embroiderer who loves to make and teach!
I’m always cold, so when I’m not stitching, you’ll often catch me with a cuppa in my hand, listening to Taylor on the radio and dreaming up what to embellish next.
I’ve been creative for as long as I can remember. As someone who is always full of ideas, embroidery gives me clarity.
My journey with sewing began when I studied Textiles in school—when I totally fell in love with it. My amazing teacher, Ms. Robbens, introduced me to the Knitting and Stitching Show where I heard about the Royal School of Needlework. I was hooked instantly and couldn't wait to start their foundation course. Fast forward to 2021, and I graduated with First Class Honours! It’s been an incredible ride turning my childhood passion into a career that I love.
I run workshops, not just because I love to create and teach others how to do what I do, but I also I want to help people to make new connections and to promote positivity through creativity.
The basis of this comes solely from my own story.
I was diagnosed with scoliosis at 11, and had spinal fusion surgery at 12. Recovery was tough—I had to re-learn to walk and wore a brace for 23 hours a day. Going back to school was daunting as friendships had shifted, and dealing with ongoing pain and discomfort was challenging.
During this time, I found solace in embroidery. It taught me patience, helped me embrace my journey, and instilled a mantra in me to "Always do what you love and love what you do." Embroidery not only passed the time but also restored my confidence and self-belief. Now, I’m passionate about sharing this craft with others, helping them find their own path.
I combine my creative knowledge and life experiences to teach others and work with others to fulfill their dreams.
It’s important to me to let people know that the obstacles we face in life shouldn’t define you and shouldn’t stop you from doing what you love to do.

When it comes to making jelly, let’s just say I’m not exactly a pro — it never sets the way it’s supposed to! Thankfully, my embroidery game is way more on point.
